Below the sea-crossing bridge connecting Beilun District of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province and Meishan Island Free Trade Zone, six "Silver Power Snakes" meander along the bridge toward the Meishan Island Port Area. In June this year, with the commissioning of the 110kV Qixing power transmission and transformation project, this cross-sea power channel will send a steady stream of power to the port area.
In 2008, the State Council approved the establishment of Ningbo Meishan Bonded Port Area, which is the fifth bonded port area in China after Shanghai Yangshan, Tianjin Dongjiang, Dalian Dayaowan and Hainan Yangpu. The decision to speed up the construction of Meishan Island was made.
In September 2009, various constructions known as "Meishan" speed were fully launched on the island, more than 400 acres of storage land began to be piled, more than 10 infrastructure projects were started across the board, and the only 35kV Meishan transformer on the island was started. Power supply is tight, and power construction is urgent. To this end, Ningbo Electric Power Bureau, adhering to the principle of special handling, has implemented a special electric power construction plan tailored for Meishan Island to meet the long-term development needs of the port area.
Tailor-made island "electric accelerator"
Special power construction means that every link from feasibility study, design to construction will closely focus on the construction and development needs of the port area, which means more comprehensive, meticulous and considerate construction and services. At the beginning of 2013, after nearly 5 years of hard work, the 110 kV Qixing power transmission and transformation project entered the construction stage. In the face of such a rapidly developing island, protecting the environment and saving resources has become the work that Ningbo Electric Power Bureau must do everything possible to do.
"Considering the long-term development environment of the Meishan Island port area, the overhead lines in this area are undergoing "up and down" transformation," said the person in charge of the project design. From the perspective of the long-term development of the port area, the conventional overhead line will inevitably have an impact on the landscape of the Meishan Bridge gateway and the future development and construction of the area where the line passes.
To this end, Ningbo Electric Power Bureau planned ahead, on the one hand, to transform the overhead lines in the development area into the ground; The "regional quality" of Meishan Island.
"In order to cooperate with the development of the island and combine the load characteristics of the port area, we have selected the voltage level of the distribution network in the port area to be 20 kV." The person in charge of the project design said that the distribution station project of Qixing Power Transmission and Transformation on Meishan Island is currently underway construction.
Previously, in order to save island resources and achieve the best quality of power supply, Ningbo Electric Power Bureau mobilized technical force, expanded the scope of research, and intensified research efforts. A 20kV smart distribution network will be built on the island, and the planned 110kV substations on the island will be reduced from 3 to 2, saving line channel resources and land resources to the greatest extent.
Laying the "energy artery" of the port area across the sea
In April, the transmission line project from the 220 kV Xianxiang Gan'ao Line T to the 110 kV Qixingbian entered the most critical cross-sea cable laying stage of the entire project. This short 1.1 kilometers carries three firsts of Ningbo 110kV cable: the first time to lay a cable with a cross-section of 1000 square millimeters, the first time to carry out cable construction with the cross-sea bridge, the first time to expand and contract according to the bridge Set up the cable expansion joint device. The construction of the project has faced various difficulties and challenges from the very beginning.
There are express lanes on both sides of the Meishan Island Bridge. The cable laying space in the middle of the bridge is very narrow. Each cable expansion device weighing 5 tons is faced with the dilemma of being unable to be in place after reaching the construction site. "Brothers, dismantle first, transport it to the bottom and then assemble." The cable team leader Ye Luo shouted, and more than 20 hands immediately disassembled the cable expansion devices into easy-to-hang and easy-to-move parts.
Crane, shoulder, several trips down, in this cool season, everyone is already sweating. After the parts were transported to the designated location, in order not to affect the subsequent construction, the construction team literally "cat" in the narrow space for five consecutive days, like building blocks, carefully assembling all the five expansion devices.
The equipment problems were solved, and new difficulties followed. On April 12, the cable straightening machine just stopped in the chasing sea breeze of Meishan Island Bridge, and Ye Yan and several construction workers once again spread out the construction plan to discuss. According to the previous work experience, the difference in the relative positions between the cable straightening machines can be used to achieve the bending of the cables, but after the on-site trial, it was found that the straightening machines are cumbersome and slow to take effect. There are 6,000 meters of cables laid, and it will take 60 days to complete, and the entire project must be put into production in June. What should I do?
"We must find a way to complete this cable laying in the shortest time." In the fierce sea breeze, everyone heard Ye Luo's firm voice. After more than ten hours, six solutions, and dozens of tests, the construction plan using the lever hoist as a cable orthopedic tool was finally approved.
"One, two, three, get up!" Ten pairs of blue-veined hands tightened the lever hoist along the diameter of the cable, while trying their best to pry the 9-ton cable. Six silver "giant snakes" gradually surfaced, and the simple and efficient construction also reduced the construction period to 10 days.
